so these are my spes : Gigabyte ga-p43t-es3g
Intel q9550
Corsair 8GB Vengeance Dual Channel Kit, 1600MHz,
9-9-9-24, 1.5V
Nvidia 560 ti

i want to overclock my cpu but i can't get it stable i tried alot of things that i found on the net but nothing is seems to helping me getting the right settings . sometimes it gets till windows but when i do prime95 or other game i get blue screen

I have an after market cooler and I already read that post I cant make my system stable with just 3.4ghz I realy wish to find someone with the same specs as mine and see what he achived if its possible thx for trying to help tough

Hold on now. You haven't really explained everything you've done. When overclocking, you OC in steps. You don't just go to 3.4ghz. Start out at 3.0. Test stability and go from there. Also have you unlinked the FSB and RAM clock? You're suppose to do that. And don't mess with the multiplier. I have a q9550 and I've had it OC'd to 3.4 before. You also haven't told me about the temps you have at idle and load before overclocked.

You also haven't listed your entire rig. Maybe it's your motherboard or power supply. Can't help you if you don't give me info to help.

what do you mean by unlinked ?
this is my rig : mother board = Gigabyte ga-p43t-es3g
cpu= q9550
ram= Corsair 8GB Vengeance Dual Channel Kit, 9-9-9-24
vga= gtx 560ti
psu= hiper type m 630w
