Hello and welcome to Tom's Hardware Forums.

Is there is a specific programme running when this happens or is it when you start the system up? If it's a programme, which one?

If it's at startup, restart the computer and tap the Function 8 key several times, as it powers up, you will see the Advanced Boot menu. Select "Disable automatic restart on system failure" and when the startup falls over, you should see a blue screen with a Stop Error message. Post back here with the basic details from there - the numeric 0x0000?? and ANY_WORDS_JOINED_UP_BY underscores. and someone will be able to help

The whole thing started when I lost vista files that we couldn't find anywhere. So my dad decided to wipe the pc clean and install windows 7 home premium. I say it ran ok for about a week then I started seeing bsof for instance I got a error that said page_fault_in_non_paged area. Another thing is I only have a D: and I highly doubt my dad re partioned the area where your windows files go which should say local disk (C:) contains windows files and the D: drive I thought was used for recovery.
