I recently had problems with my laptop and took it to a repair shop. Found out the hard drive was damaged and had it replaced. When I get it back I checked the ratings (windows experience index)of my laptop it said 1.0 and originally it was 3.9. I clicked the tab to get a new rating, same results. I look further and I noticed the "graphics" and "gaming graphics"look different from what they were originally. The vaio model I have comes with a Cuda graphics card 210 and the display is now showing, "Graphics: Desktop performance for Windows Aero" and "Gaming graphics: 3D business and gaming graphics performance." I know for a fact that the specs never said this before and I think this repair shop some how down graded my graphics card. When I spoke on the phone to a rep from the store. He explained that the graphics card is integrated and that it is possible that the wrong codex was installed into the graphics card. My gut instinct doesn't believe his story and now I'm asking for a second opinion, can anyone help? Thanks.
