How is my build?

Hi, this is my first time building a computer, and I'd like some advice. This is what I am THINKING of getting so far(keep in mind, first build):

Case: BitFenix Prodigy Midnight Black / Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case ($89.99)

Graphics Card: EVGA SuperClocked 02G-P4-2662-KR GeForce GTX 660 2GB 192-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card (189.99)

Power Supply: CORSAIR Builder Series CX500 500W ATX12V v2.3 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply (Not sure how many watts I need yet, haven't checked, $59.99 for the 500w)

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 ($64.99)

Mother Board: MSI Z77A-G41 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS ($99.99) Not sure about this one, suggestions?

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K ($219.99) Probably not a good choice, considering my budget. Help with this one?

Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus RR-B10-212P-G1 "Heatpipe Direct Contact" Long Life Sleeve 120mm CPU Cooler Compatible with Intel ($29.99)

Hard Drive: OCZ Agility 3 AGT3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ($89.99) Another option would be a small (32gb-ish) ssd, with a larger HDD, and just have the OS/Programs on the SSD.

Again, first time building a computer, might be a trash build, so please feel free to go ahead and tell me that.

The problem(in my eyes) with this build, is that I'm trying to cut it down to around $750 before tax/shipping. Right now, it totals to around $845 with $30 mail in rebate. All these prices are from newegg, but if you know any cheaper places, please suggest. Thanks!

Edit: Also, am I missing anything I might need for the build that I should order along with it?

Solution
Don't go for an AMD just because it's cheaper. You'll end up saving money on the Intel in the longrun.

Unless you're a really high-end gamer, you won't need to overclock. Because of this, just get the i5-3570 (rather than the i5-3570K). Also, the Z77 chipset is designed for OCing; look for a board with the H67, H77, P67, or Q75 or Q77 chipset. This should save you some substantial money.

Also, if you can, try and order all your parts on amazon, from amazon. Just about everything they sell qualifies for free shipping (just select FREE Super Saver shipping at checkout).

If I switch the CPU out to an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ965FBGMBOX

and the motherboard out to an ASRock 970 EXTREME3 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard,

I end up totaling $694.92 before tax/shipping. Thoughts?

I'm hoping to eventually overclock if I end up getting the i5, but it's really too expensive.

Okay, are there any cheap-ish intels that you would suggest?
