What should I do about my CPU?

I recently bought a coolermaster hyper 212 plus cpu cooler for my AMD FX-8150 processor. When I was removing the stock heatsink, the chip flew and hit the ground. All the pins are straight but one pin on the corner broke off and it no longer works. I was intending on upgrading eventually anyway, but don't really have the money. What is the best AM3+ processor that I can get for gaming? I liked my 8150, and it sucks that I have to replace the whole thing for one stupid pin, but that is life. I am soooooo bored without my pc. I was considering getting an i5 3570k along with a motherboard that supports SLI-CFX and front USB 3.0 ports, but that would take even longer to replace. Although I do multitask and do some photoshopping here and there, gaming is my primary concern. Thanks to all.

I currently have a Gigabyte 970A-UD3 motherboard.

Not really. The motherboard still works fine though, it is only the CPU that is having issues. The pin that broke was a necessary pin, so it doesn't work anymore.

The cheap option would be to replace the Cpu with something to get your through until you save enough to do the complete upgrade. since you currently do not have a running machine. I would grab a Phenom II x4 965 Be, for like 90 bucks, and get yourself up an running again.
