Windows 11 update brings advertisements to the start menu

looking for laptop troubleshooting

I have installed win 8 but when I start the laptop its very slow. When I right click it the options comes very late.... plz help....

Is your laptop compatible with Windows 8?
Check the Device Manager for any erors.
Check the manufacturer website for Windows 8 downloads.
