Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a good gaming pc, prebuilt or to build my own.

I want to ask you guys to create one because i am not really good at that stuff, i only know where to do it. I just want a gaming pc that performs like a total beast.

The only limit you guys have is a budget, now i'm from europe but you have a budget of 1400 Euro, and thats enough i geuss.

Also, i only use Intel and Nvidia, i'm sorry for the AMD fans :)

I already found a prebuilt setup of Acer

Intel Core i7-3770K 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD+128GB SSD, NVIDIA GTX670 2GB

No reason to get the 3770k for PC gaming. Doesn't give you anywhere near the performance boost for the cost over a 3570k. Also no reason to go with 16gb's of Ram either, no noticeable difference in gaming. I'd opt for something like:

I didn't know if you'd need a copy of Windows, so that's included.

I wont need the copy of Windows.

Is there any option to NOT come SLI?
Also, i would like to stick with the i7, i want my computer to last for another few years so i wont have to buy another one in 3 years or so.

Of course i would love to play Far Cry 3, and high demanding games like it, on ultra settings.

And thanks for the options untill now, i'm trying to fit those in my pc set-up.

The i7 won't make your pc last longer. It only has hyperthreading, which doesn't help gameplay.

If you don't want to do sli, the best you can do is a 680 (or a titan, but I don't recommend that). You could get a 690, however that's still sli, just a different form.

You asked for advice on a build that would allow you a PC "that performs like a total beast". With your budget, its obvious very doable to fit an SLI setup in your case. What resolution will you be gaming at? In general, the best single cards out right now are the 7970 series from AMD(no, the Titan doesn't count. Anyone interested in spending $1000 on a single card should be *#$!^ slapped).

As has been stated, again, the 3770k Cpu will not give you any better performance in games. If you run other applications that will take advantage of Hyperthreading, then yes, by all means get it.

1080p resolution.

Although i've read a lot of bad things about AMD, i do know that Nvidia has his bad things too. I'm just not familiar with AMD and always sticked with Nvidia.

Is there any site other then videobenchmark.com where i can really read reviews of graphic cards or something like that.

Though i have the money, i just want a good pc that can go along for a while ;)
