If the CPU fan is faster than the exhaust fan will it cause issues to the exhaust fan or the components? The exhaust (92 mm) runs around 1300 rpm. The CPU fan (92mm *edit*) is at 1100 rpm. I can't change the speed through bios (jasmine mobo) and I don't think it's compatible with speedfan so I was thinking of connecting the CPU fan to the psu so it'll run at max.

The reason I want to increase the cpu fan speed is because it only runs at 20%, and the core temps jump to 70-80 degrees celsius when gaming.

*EDIT* both fans are 92 mm.

Solution

my cpu fan(90mm) runs at 2200rpm and case fans(120mm) run at 1100rpm... there is no problem at all
