What is the best AM3+ socket compatible CPU I can get? I had the 8150 and loved it, but it broke. Is it worth the money to get the 8350? Or for gaming would a cheaper option be better?
The 8350 is good for a budget. But, if you know how to OC well, I would save ~30$ and grab an 8320. The only difference between it and the 8350 is clock speed, which can be changed by OC'ing.

Oh, so in that aspect I assume it is like comparing the 8120 to the 8150? I didn't realize an 8320 existed until you mentioned it. When overclocked, do they get similar performance?

You can safely OC the 8320 to 4.4-4.8 GHz on Air cooling...(though anything less than a Hyper 212 EVO system would be insufficient).
As for overclocking, there is a forum on overclock.net that has a wealth of data about the FX8320/8350 and voltages/OS/system specs, and what kind of stability they got.
Just google overclock.net FX owners club...you'll find it.
