I am going to purchase the sapphire 7870xt:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?SID=IpyxZp-qEeKIJ-bHJGciMA0_O7qV3_0_0_0&AID=10440897&PID=1225267&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16814202024&cm_sp=

It keeps going out of stock and is currently as I type this. Do you guys think it will be back in stock soon or do you think it was like a limited-time only offer and wont be available by the 14th to get the rebate in as well?

If not I will get the powercolor EZ tahiti but I have heard bad things about them underclocking and causing micro-stutter etc... Anyone have experience with the powercolor version? Is it just as good as the Sapphire?

Solution
Well at least it's not discontinued... I really like sapphire, and have no experience with powercolor, but I too have seen complaints about the ez card.

I would probably wait a little while longer for the sapphire version. I think it would be worth it to get the extra fan. Just keep your eye on it for the restock.

Ya I have been watching it like a hawk. Last time it sold out in like 20 minutes.
And why would I get a 7950 for like 5% increase in performance and the cheapest one is like $290, $270 after rebate. Big difference if you ask me. Plus the 7870xt comes with tomb raider AND bioshock, two games I want to play. The 7950 comes with crysis which I dont want so I would have to sell that and buy Tomb Raider.

Without rebate its $250 vs $290, after rebates its $235 vs $270. $40 and $35 differences for small increase and a game I dont want. I made my decision.

Tahiti 7870s;
Powercolor 7870 EZ(not listed as tahiti but it is): $245 normally, $235 with rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131487

Sapphire 7870 xt: $260 normally, $250 on sale, $235 with rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202024

Two cheapest 7950s;
Sapphire 7950: $310 normally, $290 after rebate
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202026

XFX 7950: $320 normally, $290 with rebate.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150590

Now with ^that said
7870xt: $245 and $250 without rebate and $235 with rebate.
7950:$310 and $320 without rebate, $290 with rebate.
Without rebate it is a $60-$75 difference and with it is a $55 difference. NOT $20. If it was truly a $20 difference I would go for a 7950. Plus as I will say AGAIN, I would rather have tomb raider than crysis personally.

Anyway, anyone have any experience with the powercolor tahiti (not the myst the EZ) or the Sapphire xt?

Oh and I forgot, If anyone is interested you can get the Sapphire version with bioshock and tomb raider on SuperBiiz:
http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=AT-7870XT2&show=p

With the $16 shipping it came out to $255 for me so I am waiting to see if it comes back in stock at newegg personally. Although shipping might be cheaper for you.

EDIT: ITS BACK IN STOCK RIGHT NOW! Just got mine so hurry up before its gone again.
Second edit: Wow already sold out in under 25 minutes. Got mine though =)
