Just brought Noctua NH-D14 ( Dont think it will fit )

Im such a douch. I seen the Vengeance Red Ram does not support the Noctua NH-D14, I was wondering is it safe to take of my heat sinks for my ram ?

Or will it fit ?


Board : ASRock Extreme 3
RAM : Vengeance 2x 4GB ( Racing Red )

Take the heat sinks off. They're more for bling than anything.

I would do that but i just read up that that's not the best idea.

I would be very grateful ig you could link me to some RAM heat spreaders. I cannot find anything.

these are good and low profile so they should not extend up and if you are worried about cooling it should be fine

EDIT: 1 of these is for 1 stick of RAM, be sure to get the right amount because the picture could be misinterpreted.
