Connecting desktop to TV by cables. Is it possible?

I want to connect my desktop pc to my Television.

My graphic card is Gigabyte Radeon HD 7770 OC 1GB:

I want to know if it possible to connect them with only to cables:
1)DVI male to VGA female adapter:

My TC is old and doesn't have HDMI port. It only have Scart and 3 other port together(yellow,red,white) but I prefer to connect it on the scart port because I already have the second cable available(VGA to Scart).
