Issues with HD 5450 Drivers

I recently purchased an ASUS Hd 5450, and the driver CD drivers do not install, and all the other drivers I've tried all have errors. I'm assuming it's a problem with my computer, as all the drivers don't work. I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I can't use this card until I get drivers. I've had this card on my hardware before, but the card died and I uninstalled the drivers. I bought a new one, and tried reinstalling the drivers, and it didn't work. I'm running XP 32 SP3. Thanks!

You should try uninstalling the drivers, then sweep them with a good Driver Cleaner so it would be gone for good.
Also, try ones of the older drivers (Catalyst 10.x) that were reported to always work.

If the problem you're having is "not being able to install drivers at all", you should check if you have the intergrated GPU enabled or not in the bios or with GPU-Z. If it is enabled, Windows would not let you install a driver for a wrong GPU.

Hope it helps! :),

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I've always had antivirus on it but you never know.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but not with a driver cleaner. That might be the problem. Thanks a TON for your reply!
