Last week I received a Scout 2 Advanced from CM, I could test it, and keep it!
So let's move on of what I thought of it.
First off, looks are great, it's not black or white, no the colour is 'Gunmetal gray' as they call it, which is actually quite awesome.
It comes with a default of 3 fans, one 120mm at the back and 2x120mm red LED in the front.
There is a button on the top of the case (next to the reset and power button) to turn off the LED's which can be of great help trying to sleep next to my PC when download over night.
However there are some minor complaints.
First off all the copper standoff screws were very difficult to install into the case, leading to me scratching the paintjob on the inside of the case..
However, the rest of the progress of transfering the components from my CM Storm Enforcer to the new case was done in a couple of minutes.
After receiving the case, I went out and ordered 4 Coolermaster Sickleflow fans to see how they build in and the noise they produced.
Both fronts were terrible.
Installing them caused me to destroy the cheap screws they came in, and I had to drill them out when taking them out.
I took them out because the case sounded like a plane trying to take of and I could hear the PC rambling when I was downstairs.
I think it were faulty fans seeing the boxes they came in were dirty and damaged, so I returned them.
I however did replace them with a Hyper 212+ CPU cooling fan on the side panel, and a Hyper T4 CPU cooling fan on the top.
Of course seeing as these are build for CPU's I took down the speed quite a bit in the BIOS.
However, this case features a take-off lid on the top of the case allowing you for easy acces to the screw holes for mounting the fans on the top, what CoolerMaster didn't take into mind while designing this is that the lid starts to rattle and ramble when the fans speed up.
I have since then removed the top fan and moved it to the side panel.
The side panel does feature a window kit, however it's tinted glass which I dislike, I would have rather seen transparent glass.
Temperatures are the same as on my CM Storm Enforcer, all be it a bit higher under load after moving the fan from the top to the side. (The Enforcer only allowed top mounts)
CPU load is at 45 (4.5 GHz with a Hyper 212+ cooler in push pull, also featuring Sickleflow fans, which are almost silent, 2011 batch instead of the 2013 I had ordered for this case)
While GPU peaks at 65 and 70 in Furmark.

Over all, for 80 euro this is a very nice case for the money, it looks good, and it build good, just be aware that if you're going to mount extra casefans you can have a bad time.
