help Best 600W PSU Under $80

I'm on a pretty tight budget and making a gaming rig, I'm currently planning on using a Corsair Cx600 ($69.99 @ Newegg) ... and possibly going for the modular version if it's worth it. Otherwise, i was considering the OCZ600MXSP ($79.99 @ Newegg)....

My graphics card is going to be a GTX 650ti Boost SC if that makes any difference.

If you guys can suggest one that is cheaper and might work better that would be awesome... I would prefer an 80+ Bronze though

Thanks!

With the 650TI boost you realy don't need 600WAtt
XFX Core Edition PRO550W ($59 after rebate) is a top of the line PSU can run even a GTX680 or HD7870

Are you sure? If that card needs 450W and the rest of the system usually needs like 100+ (or am i way off base there) wouldn't having the 600W be just right without too much overkill

jnk is it better because of the Capacitors or something??

Do you intend to add a different card because a 650ti only needs a good 400W supply?

You are right my handy dandy reference chart did not have the boost and I just got off of reading a few articles to come to that conclusion. You do understand that they mean 450W TOTAL not just for the card right?

The reccommended power supply that Nvidia and AMD give are including the ENTIRE system, and presuming a power supply that's poorly made and isn't capable of putting out what it's rated for.

Trust us, you can run an overclocked system with 650ti boost on a 450w power supply - 500 if you want to play it safe.

The card itself only uses about 110 watts at full load.

I was considering a second card at some point down the line yes... But then again by that time I'll be replacing the cpu anyways so i wouldn't mind a fresh psu at that time.

Okay. So if i only run that one card what is a good 500w psu that is 80+ bronze with all the proper connectors and preferably whatever is best for a gaming rig that is using the fairly hot running phenom ii x4 965 black

Or if you guys think I can safely run that oc'd at about 4.0 on a 450w please speak up and help with that. Cheaper is better when the quality isn't dropping

Listen to every one ! When manufacturer gives you wattage they cover their ass as non branded pico psu 660 watt can do less 350 watt. so with quality psus you don't have to worry.
Your phenom ii x4 965 black TDP 125 Watt
650 Ti has a TDP of 110W
SlI means 220Watt
Your other parts Motherboard HDD DVD rom etc MAX 50WATTs
So a 400Watt TDP System should be OK on a Corsair CX500

Since it cost the same I suggest you go for the XFX 550 WAtt.
