Hi There, I've been having an issue every time I overclock my GPU. I've only tested it on a couple of games so far.

When I play Crysis 3 with overclocking on, once you enter the playable game, the screen is black and nothing will happen. I also tried it on Guild Wars 2 and the frame rate goes down to 15 and below. Both of these games seem to work fine without OC, but whenever I try to bring a bit more performance to these games issues start happening. I have no idea how to fix this so any help would be appreciated... Really would like to get the most out of this card.

System Specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8120 eight core 3.11GHz
RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz
GPU: XFX HD 7950 3GB DD Edition
PSU: XFX Pro 850W
Mobo: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX

This means the overclock is unstable.
This can be due to not raising the voltage upon raising the clocks.
I recommend increment increases of 50 mhz, with voltage increases of say, 25 for each 50 of your clock.

Download Unigine Heaven Benchmark. Run it for at least half an hour. If it crashes, it means it is not stable. INcrease the voltage. But also download MSI Afterburner to check temperature, and I'd say anything up to 80C is alright, regardless of what other people say. However, if waiting half an hour is too long, then just run the game (Crysis 3) and see if it crashes.

Hope this helps.
If my answer has helped, please consider selecting it as the solution. Thanks :)
