Whenever I try to do a custom installation of Windows 8, it says it can't find any drivers to install windows on. I need help since I have no idea what to do :??: My PC is a new build so it has no operating system on it.
Here are some specs:
Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3-Mobo
WD Blue 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive-HDD

Update:
I think I need to download drivers, since I have not done so. But the thing is I don't know how to find a driver update for my motherboard. No disc came with the motherboard when I bought it, and I'm pretty sure I download it online, I just don't know what to download.

I fixed it, the cable plugging into the power source wasn't plugged in fully. I feel stupid now.
But new problem is, that I installed windows 8 and it says for the activation key, I put in the product key and it says it can only be used to upgrade, not clean install. I figured I would try again today, but now whenever I turn on my computer, it keeps turning on then off in a cycle after about 2 seconds of running.
I took out the RAM and it started to boot just fine, but the signal wasn't going through my vga cable, and the cpu fan wasn't spinning. I don't even know what to diagnose now, I've already tested my PSU so its not that.
