ASUS M2NPV-VM AMD Phenom II X4 CPU Support

Solution
No it does not support the Phenom X4 955BE because it is a 125watt cpu. The best cpu it officially supports is a Phenom II X4 945 (HDX945WFK4DGM),3.0GHz,2048KB,95W,rev.C3 and you would have to be careful not to endup with the regular Phenom II X4 945BE Rev c2 that is a 125watt cpu that would not work in for motherboard. Hope this helps.

I successfully installed a AMD Phenom II X4 965 black on the M2NPV-VM with the latest bios 5005 and cpu stepping is 17. The cpu is 125 watts but the vcore is running at 1.1 so not sure if that is a problem or not.

guess i'll give it a try, but is there a vast difference between the deneb and the other 945 95w, do you know?
