My computer recently stopped working. I came back from work and it was off, even though I had left it on. I turned it back on it, it powered up and the fans/lights turned on. However, there was no video outputting to the monitor and the keyboard was receiving no power (lights off), but the mouse and speakers were. The small speaker attached to the motherboard clicks twice, followed by a pause and two more clicks though, and continues like this indefinitely. I have removed all the components attached the motherboard and the clicks remain, no matter what is disconnected. This leads me to believe the issue lies within the motherboard. Just for reference, the clicking noise is NOT coming from the HDD. I know this because when I disconnected the motherboard speaker, the clicking noise stops. Thank you for any help.
