I went to turn on my computer the other day and all I got was a blue screen with the following message
STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error}
The verification of a knownDLL failed. system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc000012f (0x00360bf0 0x00000000).
The system has shut down.
When I launch startup repair, it find nothing when it is searching for windows installations so I have no operating system to select before hitting the next button.
If I hit next with nothing selected I get the error as follows
An internal error occurred. The following information might help you resolve the error:
The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002)
I then am only given the option to hit OK, which brings me to the System Recovery Options page. None of the tools resolve the problem.
I have the same results if I boot to the windows install disk.
I am running 2 SSD's in RAID 0 using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology with 128KB strip size. SATA Option ROM - 3.0.0.1184
If I press Ctrl + I to get into the RAID setup, it would appear that both of the SSD's are fine and it shows the RAID 0 volume.
As a side note, windows update had just finished downloading an update and required a restart the last time I shut down my computer. When I turned it on the next day, this happened. Not sure if it could be related, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
If anyone has any info on how to solve this, I would be very grateful.
