ECS motherboard G41T-m7

Ok i just got this board recently and it works with the onboard video drivers i put a core 2 duo e6600 in it and it works fine but i need to put the sapphire hd 4830 on it and when i do the nothing shows on the screen what do i do plz help

btw i did somethings in the bios and it didnt work at all

some places said it has a auto detect feature but im not sure about it though i dont remember seeing that option on the bios

The bios should have a feature where you can turn off the onboard graphics. Make sure to uninstall the Intel video drivers before you install the 4830.

yep i tested it on another machine unless i heard that many people have had problems with the ecs motherboards or is it that the cpu cant hand it

Flipping through the manual the BIOS setting is under PCI/PnP. If you have that set to PCI it should be using the card as the primary display adapter. I should ask if your PSU is able to handle the 4830.
