As now I'm able to save up my budget for 670 but just couldn't make up my mind which make to go for.

My computer specs as follow:
Screen Reso=1920x1080
Motherboard=asus p8z877 v pro
Ram= Vengence 2x4gb
Power supply=650w

Pick the cheapest one. I've bought gfx cards from different manufacturers throughout the years and never encountered any issues (knock on wood). Can't speak about customer service as a result.

Palit, (Who are gainwaird) have great customer support from what I've heard. Gigabyte are great too, I've never heard anything about Gigabyte's warranty service. Customer support maybe, but they are not as bad as Asus (How such a huge company can have the worst company service in the world makes no sense to me)

So both makers are about just as good? I've take out asus as it is the most expensive.

i've used Palit for several cards already, one broke down but was replaced and worked for a few years more.

but, for the 670 particularly the jet stream, while it looked good, is noisy they say. and i've read quite a few that they are indeed loud, or at least louder than other brands/models.

i also own a 670 btw, a different brand

Ah yes, I forgot about the particular Palit 670 Jetstream. DANG that thing is loud. Not just the only one, I see alot of complaints about it. Also look at it this way about the Jestream. Its loud, and its worse than other two slot coolers. There is no real point to it, and it uses the standard crappy 670 PCB.

I can vouch for the 670 Windforce 3x, I have two of them, and they have the 680 PCB. Great overclocker so far.

i have inno3d (yeah yeah i know, i don't like em much either), the I-chill, i don't like the brand that much due to past experiences but i have to say that the ichill is great.
i run bf3 on ultra and most of the time i hit 49-50deg, sometimes it reaches 55c, compare that to my old 560Ti twin frozr that runs at 60+ on the same game. it's not noisy either, i just dont like the pcb color, but the rest are nice, you can even remove the heatsink fins for easy cleaning

hmm..thx for the replies. So it seems the palit is out of choice. I'll either get the giga windforce or the asus. Although it costs. Am I right to say it is more value for money on the long run?
