Recently I bought a 21.5" Full HD Monitor .. Now I m Thinking Should I buy an Xbox or a GPU? If I buy an x360 I can play all the games in Full HD and I wont need to buy a GPU .. and if I buy a GPu .. I ll b able to play all the games released for PC but wont b able to play console exclusives.. So which one should I go For? my current setup is Core i3 2100 + 4GB Ram + Radeon 7750 ..

and If a buy a xbox now .. I might b able to buy a gpu 1.5 yrs later..end of 2014

and How long will Developers publish games for Xbox 360?

Imo get teh xbox, cause with an i3 you'd need an new cpu as well as a gpu in order to run things at high on a 1080p screen

That i3 is powerful enough for any game at 1920x1080. What's the xbox cost today? $250? You could sell your 7750 and maybe buy a 670.

I'd go with the xbox for sure. By doing that you don't have to drop several hundred dollars every year or two to replace your GPU to run current games.

if you enjoy consoles, buy it. i have a ps3 but it is accumulating dust lol, right in from of me (placed on the same table as my pc monitor), i just like pc more because i can just alt+tab in between rounds of bf3 and do whatever.

if you dont have a console yet, get the console instead.

New xbox is coming out this fall. Buying a console now is really a bad investment. That's mostly why I recommended buying the gpu, even though you want the console exclusives.

for what its worth 360's do not do full 1080 hd, most games are 720 and are up-scaled to 1080, and some games aren't even 720, most people don't know that. besides an xbox won't give you much anti-antianalising if any, plus you can have better textures on pc. An i3 will play most if not all single player games, and most multiplayer games play ok with the exception of bf3 and a few new games. I say buy the gfx card and then save for an i5, a locked 3ghz cpu will be plenty for the likes of bf3 and newer games

well,
buying an xbox right now is the WORST decesion !!
it is at the end of it's lifetime, it will be almost useless by end of next year. same goes for PS3
and just so u know xbox is not even close to playing at FULL HD at 720p it struggles to give 30FPS.
so an xbox 360 AND PS3 is just out of the window.
also... what are the exclusives that u are intrested in?? Playstation has the great exclusives!! xbox just has HALO and GOW(both shooters)
so unless u can afford next gen consoles, a GPU is only option.
or u can save up to buy a PS4.

what I would do is buy a mid range GPU(650ti boost)now and be with it for 2 years, by that time consoles will be cheaper, and already have a big collection of games(exclusives) for u to play!!

i beg to differ. i built a friend a rig with an i3 2120 and a HD 6870 and it handles BF 3 multiplayer at high settings quite well.

That's $240 before rebate, $215 after rebate. And you get Bioshock + Tomb Raider free.

^^ is more powerful than an Xbox. Costs less. 2 new games for free.

If you are so concerned about console exclusives, get an xbox 360 now or wait for the 720. There is no point staying here any longer.

You can get an Xbox from GameStop for like $150 but it is the worst time to buy one in the history of gaming. Go with the 7850 that was previously suggested. In other words +1 to huilun02

You may be able to play on high but not on Ultra, I play on ultra with a 560 gtx and a six core AMD, If I couldn't do that I would have just bought it on xbox
