Hi

I will be ordering the following system soon, just wondering is this PSU (Corsair Builder Series 430W) sufficient?

AMD Athlon II x4 750k
XFX 1GB 7850 Core Edition
Corsair Builder Series 430W
Kingston DDR3 1600 MHz
Asrock FM2A85X Extreme 4 M

I will also be overclocking.

Its 80+ Bronze, rather than not even certified at all.
All XFX PSU's are Seasonic designs and handiwork, so its good quality (Seasonic is considered the best PSU Manufacturer) while the Builder (CX) series of Corsair PSU's uses a lower quality capacitors and is made by a less reputable OEM.

Fair enough, it is just a but annoying when someone says a product is better but does not say why :)

oh im sorry....xfx has a much better reputation on newegg....a lower failure rate...better warrenty and is made by the most reputable maker. seasonic. see those ratings under our names? homebuilt, power supply and ancient? those cant be faked by the website.

if the thread starter was just as knowledgeable as yourself he would probably not have the need to start the thread in the first place. and you have to take newegg reviews with a grain of salt.

Except only the people with issues come back to comment most of the time.
I use Newegg reviews for non-technical components like cases. Their people can say its low quality and know what their talking about. Most Newegg reviews on things like PSU, have no idea what their talking about and give it 5 stars because it didn't blow up when they turned it on.
Hence, why you get glowing 5 star reviews for absolutely horrible units.
