Hi guys, I'm looking for a few ideas on builds for a new Vmware PC, I'm prepared to spend a little bit on processor and motherboard.

The idea is as follows:

2 Video cards with SLI 3x DVI ports (Must be nvidia)
16/32 GB ram. I want to emulate GNS3 and VirtualBox together for uni stuff, ram doesn't need to be expensive I presume. I was thinking good old kingston
Processor would have to be where I spend a bit of money on, socket 1155.

I already have a 250GB ssd for a boot drive, and a 1TB for other stuffs.
Got a gtx480 that I don't plan on keeping, I'm growing up and swapping gaming for work :D

I also have a 24'' monitor, I was thinking 2 smaller ones on the sides.

Recommendations? I live in aus. So would probably buy from arc computers or MSY

What size monitors do you work with?

Thanks in advance.

Vmware utilizes a lot of ram so you will need at least 16gb. THe i7 would best suit you as VMware is also a hog on the cpu. make sure you get at least 750 watt PSU to support excessive power draws.

I use a Benq T2200HD LCD monitor that is large enough to see everything but not heavy enough to break the desk.
