Hello all,

I recently just installed a new graphics card (gtx 660) and power supply (Corsair VS 550), everything is fine except there is a small delay after I press the power on button. I've only turned on my computer three times since, but the first two times it was about 1 second later, and the last attempt about 3 seconds. I've read around about how some people have to wait 5-15 minutes for it to power on and don't want it to progress to this stage. Suggestions included a dying power supply (not in this case, perhaps faulty?) or a dying motherboard. Perhaps something to do with the BIOS after installing a new graphics card..? Hopefully I will not have to replace the new PSU with the older one to diagnose the problem and it took me a considerable amount of time to switch. (my first)

Any help appreciated, thanks :)

Try the old power supply. If it isn't slow, the PSU is the problem. If it still is, try the old graphics card with the new PSU.
