Hello everyone, I just purchased a 7870 for my build. But now looking back at things I could have spent an extra $50 and got a 7950. SO what I need to know is if it is worth reselling my 7870 for around the price I paid for it and purchasing the AMD Radeon HD 7950 (WILL I SEE A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE) Please let me know in the comments below!

Vs.

My Current Build:

OS: Windows 7 x64

Monitor: ASUS VH236H

Case: Rosewill Challenger

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78-LMT-S2P

Processor: AMD FX-8350 4.0Gghz 8 cores

GPU: Radeon 7870 2GB DDR5

RAM: Vengeance 2x (4GB) 8GB DDR3 1600mhz

PSU: Corsair TX 650 V2

SSD: Crucial M4 256GB (All games are located on here)

HD: Barracuda 1TB 7000RPM

So to sum up my question, will I see a noticeable difference between the two cards when running higher end games on Ultra settings? If so is it worth the extra money to buy the 7950 and replace my current 7870?

See I'm just not sure if that difference between the cards is worth the $50. I mean will I NOTICE the difference? Will it make a noticeable impact? If so I will definitely spend the money

Okay great, that helps knowing that. Will the 7870 be able to max games such as WoW, Diablo 3 and Counter strike GO?

This thread is pretty old, but since you got no answer, i'll give you one. If you are gonna play games like WoW, Diablo 3 and Counter strike GO, then no. But if your gonna go play games like BF3, Crisis 3, and FarCry 3 then yes. Hope I helped :)
