I'm not too sure about the PSU here. Will b enough? The estimated wattage is 441W but I think 550W from a not too popular brand sounds a bit dodgy.

And if there are any other parts that are not too good then feel free to tell me. I will be playing on a 1080p HDTV using a HDMI to DVI cable. Can I run something like ARMA 3 on ultra with around 30 - 40 FPS or better?

Thanks

Hey there

http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/graphics/7000/7970/Pages/radeon-7970.aspx#2

"500W (or greater) power supply with one 150W 8-pin PCI Express power connector and one 75W 6-pin PCI Express power connector recommended.7
Certified power supplies are recommended. Refer to http://ati.amd.com/certifiedPSU for a list of Certified products"

for a piece of mind i would go with a 600-650....get a 800+ one if you are planning on getting another card in the future. As for brands stick with Corsair or Asus

other than that looks good dont forget to include windows 7 or 8 oem

I have played ARMA 3 on ultra and I was getting 30-20 fps with 2550k@4.8 ghz and a 7970...keep in mind that game is in its pre release stage so its not optimized yet, but you will be able to max out battlefield 3 and the newest far cry no problem

Alvine, he's fine with a 550w, seeing as that's a reliable brand of power supply, and the manufacturer's website presumes that the power supply in question is of a bad OEM model which can't produce according to its specs. (Also, Asus doesn't make power supplies.)

He's already got windows 7 included, and has a very solid build.

OP, the only thing I would change is that motherboard - I've done a couple builds with it, and it's, well, unreliable. The board itself is well made, but overclocking with that bios / uefi is just about the worst thing I've ever tried to do - most of the time it will completely lose all settings made, even if they were completely stable.

The mobo? UIt's the best motherboard for the price aparently, and outperforms in overclocking and in general the ASrock Z77. That's just what I read though. And the PSU will be fine then?
