So I recently bought a Graphics card (depending on my max budget) and 2 GB of Ram and yet FPS is still the same but freezes a bit less than b4 (might me my imagination though)

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHZ
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5450 2 GB
RAM: 3.25 GB DDR2 Motherboard
So what's my problem?And why after upgrading RAM and GPU isn't there almost any difference?
