I play games online quite often like CoD etc... Where half a second of delay = death... My dilemma is currently that I moved home and started using a different set up.
I was on Orange netgear N100 before and it was epic...
Since I moved I'm on the openreach box + bthub router/modem... since then I noticed lags happening, where people could see me before I see them (a bit specific sorry), while when I test my latency its 6ms (no way!).
After doing some reading I believe this is due to crappy traffic management on the BTHub. So I believe the lag is actually on my end.
What would you friendly people suggest I can do?
I would like to first test for the bloat.
Then get rid of it, by perhaps buying a new router? If so which? If I can get rid of it by doing something else, awesome!
