Btw I am using windows 7 and I suspect the culprit to be my wireless usb TP-LINK TL-WN722N . I also have done memtest for 12 hour without errors and it is not my graphics card because My pc does not crash through heavy gaming. Temperatures and what not do not abnormally spike.
My main issue is through browsing the internet, I tried all browser and mainly use chrome. It is completely random and I haven't had the issue in over a week. When I switch tabs or open a new one my computer would freeze and I would have to hard reboot. No mouse or keyboards could work. But when it does crash the only thing that I constantly notice is that the wireless signal in my taskbar has the yellow notification like it just got disconnected. Then I look at my usb receiver, and the green light is not on, indicating it is down. I never receive error notifications on why or what caused my computer to crash. I have checked the event log and the only warning I see around the time it crashed is this: The winlogon notification subscriber <GPClient> was unavailable to handle a notification event.
Maybe it is something else but I am just trying to narrow things down to things that I notice. I just can't figure it out. Does anyone know of issues where the actual wireless receiver crashed the entire computer? I am not sure if it could be through power options because I am using a USB receiver, which is constantly on. Otherwise I am thinking of just getting a pci adapter and see if anything happens with that.
