Btw I am using windows 7 and I suspect the culprit to be my wireless usb TP-LINK TL-WN722N . I also have done memtest for 12 hour without errors and it is not my graphics card because My pc does not crash through heavy gaming. Temperatures and what not do not abnormally spike.

My main issue is through browsing the internet, I tried all browser and mainly use chrome. It is completely random and I haven't had the issue in over a week. When I switch tabs or open a new one my computer would freeze and I would have to hard reboot. No mouse or keyboards could work. But when it does crash the only thing that I constantly notice is that the wireless signal in my taskbar has the yellow notification like it just got disconnected. Then I look at my usb receiver, and the green light is not on, indicating it is down. I never receive error notifications on why or what caused my computer to crash. I have checked the event log and the only warning I see around the time it crashed is this: The winlogon notification subscriber <GPClient> was unavailable to handle a notification event.

Maybe it is something else but I am just trying to narrow things down to things that I notice. I just can't figure it out. Does anyone know of issues where the actual wireless receiver crashed the entire computer? I am not sure if it could be through power options because I am using a USB receiver, which is constantly on. Otherwise I am thinking of just getting a pci adapter and see if anything happens with that.

Yes I have completely wiped out the old drivers and tried new ones. A also tried the other usb ports. It came with a usb dock extension so I also tried connecting directly into the usb. And I am just using avast antivirus free, nothing else.

Considering I am upgrading my graphics card since the current one is from an RMA , I am just going to wait and see if the brand new one will do anything. Before I RMA'd I had graphics issues on browsing as well and never gaming. But at least I would get the error notification. This time around I am not and am narrowing down to 3. My graphics card, different browsers, and obviously the usb receiver. Again the only indication of error when my computer crashes is that yellow notification on the wireless signal icon, which is why I am posting in this part of the forum. Maybe my pc crashes due to something else, and one of the last thing is does is not recognize any usb, thus the notification. But as of now I am just strictly using firefox to see if chrome is the problem.

EDIT: also forgot, this still happened after a reformat and clean install.

I'm having the same problem here (Brazil). I've done memtest, with zero problems, and have changed my motherboard from Asus P8Z77-V LX2 to Gygabyte Z77X-D3H vainly. But now I think that the problem is the TL-WN722N, because my machine still freezes randomly, and always after internet connection crashes. Today, i'm accessing the internet via (onboard) RJ45. And, after 24 hours, theres no freezing. But i dont know yet what was.

*Sorry my poor english

Same problem here. It is the TL-WN722N. Tried connecting pc by cable and internet access is fine. Tried the TL-WN722N in another pc and it crashed also. Blue screen of death flashed quickly, pc reboots. No idea how on earth this is possible, but it is. Windows 7 ultimate in both cases.
