Yes so it's connected properly; everything is I'm pretty sure. The hard drive is new so I want to install windows, but the disk drive doesn't read anything. I select it as priority boot and get the message "please insert xxxxxx". I'm not sure what to go on from here.

The reason I ask is some writers will NOT read cheap copy discs (they are too light)...copy it onto a high quality BRANDED dvd...like TDK etc...
