Mobo - Asus Sabertooth 990FX
Cpu - Amd FX-8350
Psu - Aerocool Strike-X 800W - (now Corsair TX-850 V2 Power Supply)
Gpu - Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 Ghz Edition 3gb
Cpu Cooler - Corsair Hydro Series H100i
Ram - G.Skill Ares 1866 16gb
HDD - Seagate Baracuda 2TB + 500Gb Seagate Baracuda
Case - Bitfenix Colossus Venom
And just a cheap dvd drive.

I was wondering if this build is alright for playing all the games out right now and for advanced video editing.
Programs - after affects, Photoshop, Sony Vegas, Cinema 4d, And Other programs that involve editing.

Games - Crysis 3, Farcry 3, Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim Modded, Black Ops 2, Battlefield 3. You know all those new games oh yeah forgot borderlands 2.

I would really appreciate any answers given because i'm pretty much a noob when it comes to building computers. I haven't built many before and this is my first time working with a water Cpu cooler.

Thanks.

I also want to crossfire and overclock sometime in the future.

Solution
The estimated wattage draw I'm looking at is about 790w or so, if you are running crossfire with that video card. I know the Amd video cards and Amd Cpu's draw more power than the nVidia and Intel counterparts, respectively. I don't know how much more wattage overclocking will draw, So I won't hazard a guess. Ok, that's a lie. I'm going to guess that overclocked, under a full load you'll be running really close to 850w. Little more expensive, but same quality parts, Gold certified and Modular: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341028&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= I'd probably go for that one.

I would go with a better quality PSU, and I would also use an nVidia GPU. The 680 is in the same general price range, and the Cuda cores will benefit you in your video editing.

Stick with Corsair, Pc Power and Cooling, Seasonic, XFX, OCZ, Antec even for your PSU.

I was going to get the 680 it was a tough challenge trying to figure out what to get between the 7970 and the 680, but I chose the 7970 because it comes with the 2 free games I really want right now, and they have the same performance in gaming while the 680 is more expensive.

Ehh, yeah. I understand the free games. Performance in games-wise, I doubt you'd notice a difference, but I was making the suggestion solely based on Video Editing. nVidia cards will decrease the amount of time needed, but if you are OK dealing without that, then stick with that Radeon and the free games.

However, definitely change out the PSU. Bad PSU's are BAD...like crossing the streams bad.

What PSU do you suggest, I thought mine was good since it was silver certified.

Hmm Thanks a lot for this I reckon I would stick with the 850 watt I have now and later on in the future I might buy a better Power Supply :) I'm on a tight budget atm and I can't spend more money.
