Hello! I am currently running an Intel i5-3570k, and 1 stick of 8GB G.SKILL 1600MHz RAM. I use my computer for gaming and video editing, and Photoshop, and web browsing and stuff. I have a 560 Ti and am rnning wo monitors. I was wondering if upgrading to dual-channel 16GB of RAM would be worth $60. I normally have around 10-15 programs open at a time, one being Photoshop, at least one being a game, and for sure Google Chrome with 20-30 tabs with YouTube videos playing. I am starting to realize that I am filling up all 8GB of RAM that I have and I was like "Oh no biggie I'll just get another DIMM for 40 bucks," BUT NO it's gone up 20 bucks. Is it worth it? is all I'm trying to say.

You're not going to find it any cheaper for about another 6 months unfortunately (that's what a recent news article predicted at least) so yes I think that it is a worthwhile upgrade especially if you are fully using the 8GB.

It's only $58 ;) lies
