Hello,
My Motherboard is ASUS M2N68-AM PLUS with 3GB DDR2 RAM AND AMD ATHLON-II X3 PROCESSOR. I WANT TO BUY Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6450 2 GB DDR3 Graphics Card. Please advice whether this graphics card will work on my existing system.

Solution
Of course it can.

There's no such thing as a DDR5 motherboard, but all high-end graphics cards use it.

The motherboard compatibility ONLY affects what ram goes in the motherboard - it doesn't limit anything about the graphics card.

a 6450 is a pretty low end card. it is not going to be doing high end gaming at high resolutions with settings on even medium . here is a tom's review http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6450-caicos-blu-ray-3d,2920.html it will get less than 20 fps in most games even at 720p resolution. that said you can play some games in low settings at a medium resolution and given the rest of your computer setup it isn't a bad choice, your cpu is not going to be able to support high end gaming either

budget is the biggest factor, given your cpu it would be a waste to throw in a 680 or something that powerful. a good match would be a amd 7770 can be found for $100-$140 depending on clock speeds but would play most games at high setting though in games like crysis you migh tneed to go down to medium

It'll work perfectly, yes.

Just make sure that your case isn't slimline - if it is, then buy a low profile ready 7750.
