Hello

I came across this site that was selling a graphics card but doesnt include the packaging and all you get it is the gpu itself. Do i need the cds or what?

Theoretically you can get the drivers you needed for it online. However i find it a little strange they do not send it in a package. Is it a used gpu? as long as it works and you can get a good price on it then you shouldn't have a problem. Just need to be a little cautious, as you do with anything you are buying used.

i wouldn't buy an unboxed gpu unless i was in person in a store and able to see it up and running in a computer. you will be at the mercy of the company to label it correctly and say what you are getting. and depending on your county you might have no recoarse to reverse any charges if it is either broken or mislabeled so you get an older model or a bad card you are just out the money

an unpacked gpu....!!!!!
Wtf...
Don't buy it until and unless you know the person as a friend or a relative...etc

I am from india and here this crime has become a business...
My friend saw a second hand deal on a gtx 690 online...(out of warranty)
The buyer was from a different city and totally unknown to my friend..

But the deal was simply non-refusable....a gtx 690 for 70 USD......!!(alarmed huh)
he bought that card and it initially worked....
but , after two days the card simply crashed and the display was gone....!!
When my friend called in an expert , he told that the card has been dead for a long time but the seller somehow made some cheap technical adjustments to get it to work(but not for long)...
So beware...!!!!
