So last night, my laptop was running really slow. so i turn it off for the night. I turn it back on, the hp screen pops up, then goes to the windows screen. this time, it just says "starting windows" or w/e...but without the windows logo and status bar. I tried to do a system restore to a past date and time, that didnt work. Will reformatting the HDD work to factory settings work?
