Hi. I updated my ATI 7950 drivers because while playing Tomb Raider the game would crash constantly. Once I updated my drivers the screen went black and I had to do a hard reboot. Ever since I updated the drivers it's taking a seriously long time for my system to boot. I have two Samsung 840's set up in RAID 0 and the windows symbol never came together when booting the system. Now it will literally flash 4-5 times before I get into my screen. This also didn't resolve the crash issues on Tomb Raider. I'm aware that there are always issues with new games coming out and drivers being published so I can kind of deal with that portion.

Specs
2 Samsung 840's (RAID 0) Main Partition
1 TB dump drive
2 Samsung 840's (RAID 0)
32 GB RAM
2 7850's setup in crossfier
i5 3570k

Is this a common issue with ATI to where they will bog down your system completely or am I running into some dumb issue that I'm over looking?

i have just had a quick check on the crossfire and tombraider, and u aint the only one having the issues, there are loaeds about crossfire crashing the game or poor performance, either drop the crossfire and run one 7850, or u will have to wait for another update on the drivers,
also keep an eye on ur GPU temps, this could be an issue of crashing

Hello ixblaze16xi, I am currently running/have ran Tomb raider on max settings with my crossfire 7850 2gb setup (assuming your "7950" was a typo and you meant 7850 drivers) and I did not have problems with poor performance other than a very occasional dip in fps. However I have been reading that an associated problem with the crossfire setup with tomb raider is that there can be driver conflicts causing data transfer problems, shutting down the game as well as crashing display drivers all together. If you havent already you may want to try the newest beta drivers (13.3). But before you install new drivers you must remove the older ones this includes ALL CCC and AMD related material. if you have questions on how to do that id be happy to guide you through the process. This should help with a majority of the problems you are experiencing with the game.
