Bought a used HIS HD 6670 video card. Thought it was DDR5, but turns out it is DDR3. Can't return it. Trash, sell or try and use it?

Thanks

Splendid
6670 isn't the most powerful of cards so would struggle to drive large displays, run games at higher settings or with tons of AA which all need the extra memory bandwidth so it may not be the end of the world.

All depends on what you're doing with it!

Sell it off. No point with a GDDR3 Card now, if you don't sell off now you will be within few months.
Get at least a HD7770 or same class to enjoy modern games @ decent frame rate.

Thanks

GDDR3 means its graphics memory while normal DDR3 is system RAM, so if you see a graphics card with DDR3 it is actually GDDR3

Thanks
