Ok so this is my first attempt at a build and I really don't know much about computers. I do plan on upgrading my video card and old hard drives down the road. This is for media and maybe gaming but i'm mostly a console gamer but I'm considering making the switch. It is for a living room media hub and entertainment on a 47' lcd. I'm not even sure how to put this all together or how to install the os but I'm excited to learn. I do plan on overclocking but that isn't for a bit. Are all of my parts compatible for my old computer to my new one? Any advice would be great. I'm leaving for the computer store in an hour or two. Is there anything else I should pick up? I appreciate all help and I apologize but I don't know all of the pc lingo yet so please answer as simple as you can. Thanks so much!

take it the HD SanDisk 64GB SATA 6Gb is an ssd drive, if so might want to think about upping it to a 120/128gb drive if u can afford it more room to play with after os ,games and programs get installied the 64gb going run out fast

ok So I just got back from the store and because of the budget I did get the 64GB SATA 6Gb ssd drive. I will get a bigger one down the road. I did upgrade my ram though so I pretty much got the same ram but instead I got 2 4 gig sticks to work with my 2 2 gig sticks so that's an upgrade right? lol I'm just really hoping the build tonight goes smooth. Wish me luck and any tips welcome :)

Pay attention to the front panel header diagram/ wiring. That is the one aspect of a build that doesn't use the "square peg/ square hole" design. It is also the most likely thing to screw up and create a no start scenario.
