I have an Antec Three hundred case with an I7-860 cpu. The case is great and the system works well but I would like to have it quieter the fans even on low are to noisy what is simple and EASY TO INSTALL aftermarket solution. The easier the better I am not constrained by price, do not suggest new case.

you might want to think out of the box (no pun intended) there is a type of flexable rubber mat you can get at home depot or lowe's that you can put on the side pannel and bottom ow the case as long as you have good air flow front to back it should bring your Db's down.

you need 4 things for a silent system: low noise case fans, low noise CPU fans, low noise GPU fans, and a quality PSU (with low noise fan).
my antec 300 has 6 fans on/in it, but because they're all quality low RPM fans my system is dead silent. even under load its noise is unnoticable from 2 feet away while still maintaining near ambient temps inside.

What are the quality fans you used? That sounds like an easy way to go.

i built my antec 300 system a while ago so you'll have better/different fan options now, but the fans i've got in it are:
- included tri-cool on top, set to low
- scythe somethingrather on read and side exhausts (if i were building it now i'd look at noctua)
- a zalman cnps9900 on the cpu (most any tower cooler will be quiet)
- a silencer mk II PSU (most 80plus PSU's are also quiet)
- an aftermarket accelero twin turbo II GPU cooler
- did not put any fans on the front grill (relied on negative pressure for airflow)
