I am looking for some input on whether or not I should upgrade my EVGA 590 GTX card.
My setup is: Corsair 800D, 1200w PSU, I7 2600k OC to 4.4G, water cooled CPU, 16 Gig RAM, and a SB Titanium.
I want to be able to run games at max settings on a single 27" screen at 1900 x 1200. I have been happy with the card so far but am concerned about the 1.5g of VRAM per core. Is it worth going to a 690 or wait until the next generation of cards come out. I only use Nvidia, so I am not interested in Radeon at all.
I play Planetside 2, Crysis games, also RTS and RPG's and so on and I want to be able to max out the graphics. I have Crysis 3 but haven't run it yet. Please let me know your thoughts on this, many thanks!

The only card that can out perform a gtx 590, is a gtx 690, a gtx titan and a amd 7990. There is the crossfire option, but the gtx 590 can play crysis 3 on the high preset at an average of 30-40fps. There is the option of running sli aswell like having 3 gtx 660's, 2 gtx 670's, 2 gtx 680's or 4 gtx 650 ti boosts. But I would stick with the gtx 590.

Not having a problem, knock on wood, but I had some extra cash and thought if my card was going to start showing it's age I might consider upgrading it. Judging by the comments and my own research I think I should stick with it until it dies or the next generation comes out.
