Nope, a PSU will only draw from the wall socket what it needs. The Seasonics are always amazing PSUs... I would say go for it.

Nope, it's fine. The higher the load the more energy it will consume.

no you cannot nVidia itself recommend 500W for a single 670.
http://www.nvidia.in/object/geforce-gtx-670-in.html#pdp...

GeForce GTX 670 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500~550 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 670 2x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 700 Watt power supply unit as minimum.
GeForce GTX 670 3x SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have a 850 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

Remember, if you are going to overclock the GPUs or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina. The minute you touch voltages on the CPU or GPUs, the power draw can rise real fast and extensively.

Guru3d also says 2xGTX 670 SLI System Wattage with GPUs in FULL Stress = 433W

Is it not safe to put the seasonic S12 620w psu @ 70% use and still its a good psu?

You CAN run the 670 SLI even with some overclocked.

But what has others failed to explain to you apparently is that:

Stressing the PSU @ 80% 70% meaning it meant to last 5 years but now it will do less than 3 years.

So its best/recommended to get a PSU that meets your systems total wattage requirements on load @ half way 50-60% of the capability of the PSU.
Thanks

I wouldn't suggest doing SLI.

i have the Seasonic M12II 620, and i LOVE it!. of course, mine is modular. it helps if you want to pay a bit more :)
