So i have a prebuilt PC that i wanted to put a video card (7850 2GB) into but my psu was too weak so i am getting a replacement i like this psu

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7195036&sku=C13-2800

its TX650 V2 i chose the 650 because i plan on building a computer around cyber monday, but until then it will power my other PC.

the real question here is, the $20 rebate they offer, is it taken off the final price or do they just send me $20? and if they just send me it, could i just ask to take it off the final price.? Thank you

Order.
Claim.
Wait for the product.
Cut UPC and fill out paperwork(you should already have this printed since it was created when you started to claim the rebate)
Send UPC, Paperwork and a copy if the sales slip to the rebate house and wait for a few months most times.
4myrebate.com will keep you up to date on when the receive it and stuff(by e-mail, you can also check the status on the website).

Again, Rebates are SLOW, but as long as you follow ALL the instructions, you will get it.

This is your rebate.

They have more then one kind of rebate.

"Mail In Rebates" or MIR require you to send a copy of the sales slip as well as a UPC off the product box to an address by mail and they send you either a check or pre paid credit card.

Instant Rebates come off the price before it even enters your card.

You have a 40 dollar instant and a 20 dollar mail in.

You still pay for 20 dollars and any tax on the 20, but should be able to get 20 back after you send the rebate form in with the needed items.

It is not perfect, so keep a copy of ALL the things you send in case of problems.
