I am currently running into problems with my setup. I feel that I should be able to record/stream at 45+ FPS with camtasia (recording) and OBS (streaming), but when I try to do so even on medium, my fps is around 15 or so. I play league of legends, civ 5, dota 2 and minecraft. I have had issues with all 4 games. I will provide my pc specs below:
AMD FX 8150 CPU
ASROCK 880 GMH MOBO
16GB 4x4GB DDR3 1600MHZ RAM
Hitachi / WD 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB CACHE SATA 3.0Gb/s
ATI RADEON HD 6770 1GB DDR5 2DVI HDMI/Disp-Port CrossFire PCI-EXP Video Card
COOLERMASTER GX 550 WATT HIGH PERFORMANCE SLI/CROSSFIRE POWER SUPPLY
I think it may be the GPU, but I am sorta concerned about the PSU as well. At only 550W, idk if its the reason why my gpu is underperforming. I am also considering upgrading to the 7950 next month. Will my 550W PSU be able to handle it?
