Hello There,

It's been 1.5 years almost and Now, I'm having freezes/lag issue from last 5-6 months. It's hanging continuously for no reason.
I have formatted my laptop before 4-5 months and installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit, before that there was Windows Home Basic.

Infact, I went to HP service center. They guys couldn't able to find any hardware issues. They just cleaned the dust and charged me some bucks and promised that everything will work fine now. But nothing happened. It's still have the same problem.

I have tested the HARD Disk. It's fine.
Please help me, How can i solve this.
Should I install any other OS or what? What to do, where to go?? :(
I have updated my BIOS and it seems that problem is reduced by 20%-30% but not 100%

Please help me guys.
Big Thanks in Advance.

Checked it from BIOS according HP service center instructions.
When I bought it, there were Windows 7 Home Basic. But i formatted and installed the Windows 7 Ultimate. So, Could it be the reason??

Thanks

Windows 7 Ultimate should run well on your computer hardware.
when a lag occurs, is the hard disk led always on? what are the CPU and RAM usage levels during a lag?
And the most importat: Lag occurs in safe mode?

Didn't noticed the CPU and RAM usage and HD lite (i think, It's always ON)
Also, Yes! Lag occurs in Safe Mode too. Have formatted it many times but nothing happening.

Now, What to do?
