Hey, so ive been wanting to build my own PC for a while and finally getting round to it. I will be using it mainly for games and want 2-3 screens however will most likely only game using 1. my budget is around $1000 and plan to overclock. currently this is what im thinking for parts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PyxW . was just wondering what people think of it and if there are any bottlenecks/parts that dont configure with each other/other suggestions or tips. thanks in advance :)

If you are just gaming the i5-3570k Is going to be great. You do not need the i7 unless you are doing alot of video editing and using programs that are going to utilize the hyper threaded cores.

I changed the ram TO a lower profile, the Vengence you selected has a big heatsync. And would most likely cause space problems when you went to install the Cpu cooler.

Also Changed the it to a beefier graphics card, since you are doing 3 monitors, and mainly gaming. You want to get the best gpu for your budget. By saving money on the unnecessary i7, we are able to add in the 7950. While staying closer to your $1000 budget.

id get something like this
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PBRO

-no need for a i7 for gaming
-slightly cheaper board that the OPs and much better board than the extreme4
-cheaper and faster ram while being low profile
-WD drive has a bit more warranty. if thats not what you are looking for, go ahead with seagate
-much cheaper SSD that performs pretty good
-7950 performs better than the 660ti. also to note that the 7950 i picked out is much more superior than the one picked out by tenaciousk. for cheaper. incredible deal given its the highest end 7950 you can pick up. if you want to stick with nividia, go ahead with the 660ti
-better case
-way better psu
