I have an ACER Aspire 1830T-6651. When I turn on the wireless with Fn-F3 initially after boot-up it turns off in about 5-10 minutes automatically it seems for some reason. I turn it back on and I am golden the rest of the night. What causes this and how do I get it to quit doing this?

Check the power saving properties of the wifi device in Device manager... make sure they are turned OFF...

Awesome Avatar Brett!!! I had a 928S a long while back and was my dream car (watching Risky Business years ago) until I found out my salary was not compatable with the cost of parts and service. I set an extra emblem aside somewhere in my garage and hope to see it again one day to make a souvenir Back to the computer problem....The power saving setting was checked and I hope this was the issue. Will be back if so, but will try to remember to respond if so too. Thanks so much!!
