Hey everybody, I need a little help to figure out how to update my drivers. I'm going to get a Lenovo Ideapad y500 soon, after doing a ton of research on good gaming laptops. My question is just how much of a process it's going to be to update my drivers for this laptop, since it uses a Geforce 650m SLI system.

I'd love to get some advice on how to update the drivers for this system, since many online say it is a must to avoid some errors. Should I got through the Nvidia website, or the Lenovo website? Nvidia tends to push me towards the manufacturing website, even though its drivers are more updated (April instead of October).

I would really love to get some answers from some people for this new laptop. I don't have a lot of time to get it up to snuff before I have to start taking it places.

(And yes, a laptop is a necessity at the moment thanks to college and my sporadic internet access when I'm at home.)

Thanks a lot for the feedback, Brett! I really appreciate a straight answer (after posting on several forums). This was one of the major hangups before I finally ordered the thing. Thanks a lot, Brett. :)
