I am trying to put together a gaming build for around $700 and need help choosing a reliable motherboard. I don't plan to over clock initially, but I want to have the ability to do so later on if I want to.

here are the two I am looking at

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131873

and

And here are the other parts I have chosen.

The MSI is much more in my budget, but would it be worth the extra money for the ASUS? I just want it to hold up over time, and I cant afford to get a DOA. And of course I want it to be over clockable.

The link to your build is dead, but that doesn't matter - MSI's motherboards aren't amazingly reliable, while Asus and AsRock are.

Out of the two you have here, I'd go with the Asus every time.
